We will propose instructional designs for Collaborative Online International Learning beyond time difference and physical distance.
COIL for Kindergarten and early elementary grades
We create Collaborative Online International Learning and implement it for kindergarten and early elementary grades. They can enjoy communication from other countries with low language barriers. We hope that your children can begin their English learning journey with enjoyable memories. We also hope them to learn about English-speaking cultures through authentic language experiences. We believe that these positive experience will serve as strong motivation for their English learning as they get into formal education in near future.
”Online International Class” for Overseas Residents
The classes are aimed at Japanese language learners living abroad. There are various reasons why individuals living abroad have learned Japanese, such as having interest in Japanese culture through anime or other media, or due to family circumstances. Through online communication with Japanese people living in Japan, the participants will learn both the language and culture. Let’s communicate more with native Japanese speakers!

A seminor on ChatGPT and Language Education
In this seminar, a globally renowned university professor will introduce what generative AI is and how ChatGPT can be effectively utilized in language education. This is a highly popular course.
Workshop for International Conferences
This workshop aims to further enhance your presentation skills and provide training for presenting at international conferences. You will learn to summarize your research in English, practice question and answer sessions, and work on both linguistic aspects such as language proficiency and non-verbal elements like posture and eye contact to develop your presentation abilities.
Collaborative Online International Learning: ID and its effectiveness (FD, seminar at Graduate Courses)
We will host a seminar based on conference presentations on the design and learning outcomes of online international collaborative learning.
Intensive English course for Elementary School Teachers
The wave of internationalization is sweeping through elementary schools as well. This course is designed for elementary school teachers to conduct a class in English. Japanese teachers for EFL at a university level will be in charge of the class.
