I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Hideko Shimizu of Vanderbilt University, whose charming personality always makes our conversation very enjoyable. This is the Part 2 of the Global Leader Interview: Global Leadership.

Having lived in the United States for nearly 30 years, Dr. Shimizu shared that two qualities are especially important for those who want to work globally: having the confidence to accept oneself as one truly is, and showing nenuine curiosity and respect toward other cultures.

I agree with her that we need the ability to articulate ourselves.
