For this Global Leader Interview, we had the pleasure of talking with Dr. Hideko Shimizu from Vanderbilt University in the United States. She has been a long-time COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) partner and is also a dear friend.

As a new part, we created a new part called “A Relaxed Chat Between Two PhDs: Life and Career.” This is our first attempt at sharing a more personal and informal conversation.
