Dr. Thomas Reeves, Professor Emeritus at the University of Georgia, Part 1 Breakthrough in his twenties or thirties

It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to interview Dr. Thomas Reeves, Professor Emeritus at the University of Georgia. He has given keynote speeches at many international conferences and is well-known for his design-based research. This is a wonderful opportunity to listen to his personal story about his breakthroughs in his twenties and thirties.

Dr. Reeves spoke about the importance of ‘doing work that we can love.’ I could feel how much he enjoyed mentoring his Ph.D. students. He openly shared that he did not even apply to university due to his financial situation during his high school days. I greatly admire his frankness. The paths to becoming world-renowned are truly diverse, but first of all, we should find the work that aligns with our values.”
