The third interview is with Dr. Curtis Bonk, at the School of Education at Indiana University, USA. Professor Bonk is a highly visible and globally renowned researcher. One might be even able to say he/she won’t be internationally active enough if he/she hadn’t met him at one of the conferences in Educational technology. He has authored over 20 books, including ‘The World is Open’, published over 400 papers and books, and given more than 1900 presentations worldwide, making him a highly esteemed international presenter. https://curtbonk.com/
We asked him a question, “Could you tell us why you act globally? What do you keep in mind as a global leader?”
He responded, ” You say I am a leader, but I’ve become a good follower lately.” He values students’ autonomy, and the teacher takes takes on a facilitative role. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of “sharing mentality.” He is a huge giver.
